Sweeter than Wine

Received in mail in great packaging. I bought it as I wanted to try all and see what scent I like best. Other candles from outside US looks good but works partially only so one ends up throwing away a good portion. Am hoping for better results from this.

Gifts for a King is a gift that keeps giving! At the onset the packaging and visual appeal of the candle is top notch. The scent is what fills our home and keeps giving to our whole family. My 14 year old son lights it every evening and said he would make sure we always have a CORDA candle burning in our home.

Heavenly scent!

I try to be mindful of the simple, yet powerful message of Thérèse of Lisieux and her "little way", the way of love. When I light this and smell this gentle scent of roses while praying, I think of her showering roses on us from Heaven and remember to ask for her intercession so I can live out the "little way" also.

As a Lay Carmelite we pray some of the prayers of the Liturgy of the Hours, so I was happy to find Corda’s Daily prayer set. I love using them for these prayers. The Lauds candle has almost an orange citrus smell that helps you wake up. It’s one of my favorite scents. The compline candle is more relaxing perfect for evening or night prayer. Will there be a Vespers candle someday? No pressure, these candles work out very well for all prayer times.
I love choosing Corda candles, because it was an inspiration from St. Joseph and the scents are beautiful.

I love Corda’s seasonal Tea light Sampler. This season especially has many of my all time favorites! I highly recommend this to anyone wanting to test out candle scents.

I often need an unscented (or very lightly scented) candle, especially for longer burning times. This is a beautifully simple white candle, which reminds me of the purity and simplicity of the Blessed Mother.

Bought these to fill goodies bags for my "bachelorette" painting party alongside some other little goodies! Love the idea of people randomly getting scents inspired by saints they may love or want to get to know!

I got this sampler for myself to be able to light a liturgically appropriate candle! I'm really looking forward to using them!

Today is the feast of St. Teresa of Avila and the first communion of a sweet, dear friend of mine. I gifted her this candle alongside a copy of the Interior Castle and I could tell it meant a lot to her. So grateful for the thoughtfulness of the people at Corda. 🙏🏻♥️
