I was looking to support a Catholic Business, but also found the scents to be soothing. I like to light a candle when I pray. I find the tealight that will help me with my prayers and meditation for the morning and evening. It is ritual for me to pick the candle and then light it.
The compline was a gift for a friend. She said amber, vanilla and lavender combine to give a scent she has never smelled before and she said it’s perfect. She said the vanilla and amber anre more dominant than the lavender.

I was a cohost for a bridal shower. Our friend offered her beautiful house for the event. I ordered the small tea candles for part of the party favor, so I decided to add a full-size candle to the order to give to our friend. I chose Fiat because we are all devoted deeply to Our Blessed Mother and because I have that candle at home and know how wonderful the scent it. Corda is a wonderful complany that was so helpful as we planned our event.
These candles are truly the best- they’ve turned me into a candle lady! Every scent is unique and I haven’t found one I don’t like yet. I’ve received compliments from guests who walk in and immediately say that our home smells so good. Love that. Also the fact that it’s a Catholic business makes my heart happy. ❤️
This is my first purchase ever from CORDA. What a beautiful surprise and scent that Gifts for a King has. I truly love the scent. I ordered the tea lights and will be ordering another candle very soon. You will love the scent!
This is my first Corda candle but it won’t be my last. I love that the soothing and relaxing scent of Memento Mori is perfect when lit. However I love that when its just sitting on my desk where I spend a lot of time including my prayer time I get a whiff of its scent to remind me of all my blessings.
Clay - stone - stillness is so comforting as I pray the Momento Mori Rosary. So peaceful.
This is one of my newer favorites. Summa has a fresh, clean scent that evokes the idea of walking to the library for early morning studying. Burns well with a good throw that isn’t overpowering. Love the connection to St. Thomas.
This far, this is my favorite fragrance. I can smell it in my room, even when the candle is not lit. I light it every morning for my quiet time and it has been a great blessing. I am looking forward to trying all of their fragrances.

I already have a few favorites but Fire and Cloud has moved to the top of my list. Its currently my day time candle. It burns if I am cleaning up, if I'm relaxing with my painting hobby or simply just want a great smell and a little flame for me to remember the presence of the Lord
In the past, I had been gifted with a Corda candle and immediately put them on my gift list so I could spread the joy. I decided to buy the samplers to smell more of their scents and to give the gift receiver a wider variety as well. They are a bit on the pricey side, but if you like the smell, consider the longer burning time, and want to support a great company all at once, then these are for you.
These candles are very fragrant and there are so many unique scents such as the new Poverello candle. In addition to the amazing products, the service is fantastic. I will continue to support this company by buying their candles.

The Lauds candles were purchased as Christmas gifts. I gave it a 5 star rating because the scent is very nice and the shipping time was amazingly fast. I couldn't believe how quickly they came. Very pleased!
I have ordered both the tea, light sampler, and the tea light favorites. I chose Corda for the thoughtfulness and care that goes into their fragrance combinations and candle production. I have been excited to have the opportunity to try multiple fragrances because of their sampler pack. I have already ordered a larger version of my favorite so far. I am excited to continue to try other combinations in the future. So far, this company has been great. The response and attention you get is quick and personal. I really enjoyed dealing with a family company rather than a large conglomerate. You feel like you’re dealing with a friend. I will certainly continue to order my candles from Corda!
My order arrived in a timely fashion and in good condition. The tealights are a perfect way to experience each aroma. They are clean burning and have a very natural base. I loved them all so it will be hard to decide which ones to bur- eventually I will buy them all, I am sure!
