As a way to continued to stay focused on prayer this lent, the lenten candle set help me do just that throughout my work day. I work from home so its a nice addition to always keep christ the center of my work day.
I burned the candle for 3 hours and I didn’t notice a significant scent and had to literally go up to the candle to smell anything. I think for the size, cost is too much and won’t be purchasing again.
The fragrance of the St Joseph candle is pale in comparison to Lauds & Compline. We hardly notice scents of leather or sawdust.
I feel so blessed to have found this company, their candles are amazing. I appreciate the time and thought put into each candle and every scent has been delightful. Anna was so amazing when the candle I sent to my cousin was returned by the post office. She immediately emailed me to find out the correct address and it was mailed back out promptly.

I have given and been given CORDA candles and they never get old! They are beautifully wrapped and intentionally scented. They are perfect for a holy hour at home or to simply fill your home with the aroma of a beloved saint. I have a great love for Mary, Star of the Sea and the candle, Sea Star, envelopes her role as Mother of those lost and needing guidance well with its salty scent. I love it. The whole Marian set is amazing as it welcomes many of Mary's roles into my home through scent and helps me contemplate her motherhood in my life.
I love Corda Candles! I have bought various candles over the years and these burn the most evenly, last the longest, and smell the best without being too strong. I have purchased a variety of candles from Corda. I either go by the name or the scent. Fire and Cloud I chose for the name but the scent it so subtle and beautiful that it has become one of my favorites.

The tea light sampler is a fun way to try and enjoy various Corda scents. The tea lights burn clean and the scents provide welcomed aroma. The sampler is also great way to introduce others to Corda.

I received the really lovely wick trimmer from Cordova. It works really well. It’s easy to handle and does a great job on my candle wick. It feels to me that everything they make is done with such love and great care. I’m new to using candles but their candles are all beautiful and their wick trimmer does such a great job. I’m so pleased I bought it. I highly recommend this company for all the care and love they put into all their products.
I'm not fond of super sweet scents, so I chose the Sweeter Than Wine candle because the combination of Cedar, Pomegranate and Apple sounded like it would be a good balance of smells. I haven't burned it yet, but when I opened it, I could tell it will become a favorite -- the sweetness is subtle, and it is a fresh scent to dissipate the gloominess of being cooped up this winter.
Received these candles for Christmas, and immediately bought two sampler sets. One for myself and one for my cousin. It's hard to pick a favorite! Beautiful scents, well made, and supporting a Catholic company, these are the only candles I ever want. My whole family has gone crazy for them!
We really enjoy Compline and have purchased it multiple times. The scent is relaxing and not overpowering. We would highly recommend it.
I started with one Corda candle from our local Abbey gift shop and fell in love. As someone with multiple allergies including soy, I have tried numerous coconut based candles. Corda candle have wonderful and lasting scents that I have not experienced in other non-soy-based candles. I love the combination with beeswax as well . But most importantly is the association of the scents and the candle names with our Catholic prayer life. I have since purchased candles as Christmas gifts and purchased more for myself from Corda.
