I absolutely love the CORDA candles. I use it in the morning during my Holy Hour while it is still dark outside. The scent is wonderful and not overpowering at all. And the candle has an almost etheric glow. Perfect for my time with the Lord.
I am in a class covering the Old Testament historical books, and we are just finishing the book of Exodus. I bought this candle as a Christmas gift for my instructor, knowing it would be meaningful to her. I started ordering Corda candles last year. I heard about the company on the Abiding Together Podcast. I have tried them all by now. I ordered different sets of 6 tealight sampler. Also, the bigger candle Lauds. I used for my morning prayer. There are a very good quality candles and Anna is always very responsive. I try to match the candles with feasts in the the liturgical year, saint days, or my intentions. I love Corda!
I just love Corda candles and wanted to try some new scents and offered a selection to my friends as gifts. Although I have not tried it yet, I'm sure it will be as good as all the others! I chose Momento Mori to prepare for Lent and Holy Week although it would also be good to burn it occasionally to remind me to "die daily" and offer up my sufferings for the salvation of souls.

I just lit my first Poverello candle, and it won’t be my last! It has a masculine, outdoorsy, woodsy scent that also feels a little medicinal.
I have really been enjoying this and other Corda candles. Other favorites of mine are Gifts for a King and Roses in Winter. Next year, I think I will buy a Holy Family set and donate it for our annual live auction fundraiser at our parish.

I love Bl. Pier Giorgio Frassati. I was fascinated by the description of the candle with the scent of pipe smoke. This one turned out to be my favorite. It’s a nice subtle scent. I love to start my morning by lighting this candle and doing my daily prayers. It’s the perfect way to begin my day.
Helps me to pray for a couple mins in the morning without getting an uneven burn and so I can tell which scents to buy in full next time
