Between the many hours he spent hearing confessions, Pio would drink a bowl of coffee while corresponding with people around the world who sought his spiritual direction.
St. Padre Pio’s feast day is September 23.

You’ll get the cleanest, longest, and safest burn from your candle with a few simple steps:
- Always trim the wick before lighting to 1/8”–1/4”
- Burn until the melted wax reaches edge to edge, or very nearly, to reduce tunneling
- Burn only up to 4 hours at a time
- Always keep a burning candle in sight, away from flammable materials, out of drafts, out of reach of pets and children, and on a heat-safe surface
- Keep out of direct sunlight

I bought a tealight first to see how I would like the fragrance and I loved it. While it burned, it reminded me of being in Mass. I had the pleasure of visiting San Giovanni Rotundo last month. I was blessed to receive a healing while attending Mass in Padre Pio's chapel. This fragrance will always take me back to that special place.
I initially received this candle in a tea light sampler and loved the smell but both the saint and now the scent also hold an extra special place in my heart. My grandma passed away a couple years ago and we were unable to be with her during that time. She wasn’t Catholic but always had a love for Padre Pio and prior to her death she told my mom that he came to visit her. At the same time the scent from this tiny UNLIT tea light filled the main area of my house. It had been sitting out on my shelf with the others from the sample pack for weeks but it was suddenly a very noticeable scent in the room. I have no doubt that Padre was there with us and her as she passed. I have since purchased the full sized candle for myself and my mom. A wonderful scent and beautiful memory.
