Behind the Inspiration
This just man was a courageous and strong husband, with an obedient and humble heart. Through the work of his hands, Joseph provided for the Holy Family. Scents of leather and sawdust recall the shop where he worked, and where Jesus and Mary would have visited him.

St. Joseph the Worker’s feast day is May 1.

Each candle is handcrafted with CORDA's proprietary coconut wax blend, custom phthalate-free fragrances blended in-house, and a cotton and paper wick primed with all-natural wax. Learn more about the ingredients here.

You’ll get the cleanest, longest, and safest burn from your candle with a few simple steps:

Always trim the wick before lighting to 1/8”–1/4”
Burn until the melted wax reaches edge to edge, or very nearly, to reduce tunneling
Burn only up to 4 hours at a time
Always keep a burning candle in sight, away from flammable materials, out of drafts, out of reach of pets and children, and on a heat-safe surface
Keep out of direct sunlight

These candles are truly the best- they’ve turned me into a candle lady! Every scent is unique and I haven’t found one I don’t like yet. Carpenter Shop Candle

These candles are the best! I don't know what specifically is in the candle that makes it have a distinct smell but I can't find it anywhere else. The name of the candle makes me smile because Jesus was a carpenter and I'm happy to burn it!

I have several of CORDA's candles. All of them fill the room with calming scents that fill me with peace. I recently gave my son St. Joseph's Carpenter Shop (his middle name is Joseph), and he says it helps calm him after a stressful day.
