**Seconds** This candle will have a few cosmetic differences: the lid will be scratched and/or dinged, there will be no hang tag, and the label may not have foil stamping. The scent, the jar, and everything else will be perfect!
These rugged scents of leather and sawdust are inspired by St. Joseph the Worker.
Notes of fresh cut wood and worn leather.
Behind the Inspiration
St. Joseph lovingly provided for his family through the work of his hands. Scripture tells us Jesus was "the carpenter's son" and Joseph is often depicted with the tools of his trade. The leather of his work apron and the sawdust from his cuttings inspired this candle.
He is the patron saint of the universal Church, workers, carpenters, fathers, travelers, and the dying, and his prayers are frequently invoked by those seeking employment and those trying to buy or sell a house. St. Joseph's feast day is May 1.

Each candle is handcrafted with CORDA's proprietary coconut wax blend, custom phthalate-free fragrances blended in-house, and a cotton and paper wick primed with all-natural wax. Learn more about the ingredients here.
You’ll get the cleanest, longest, and safest burn from your candle with a few simple steps:
- Always trim the wick before lighting to 1/8”–1/4”
- Burn until the melted wax reaches edge to edge, or very nearly, to reduce tunneling
- Burn only up to 4 hours at a time
- Always keep a burning candle in sight, away from flammable materials, out of drafts, out of reach of pets and children, and on a heat-safe surface
- Keep out of direct sunlight
