**Seconds** These candles have minor cosmetic blemishes: for example, markings on the glass or a slightly oblong shape. They come in a kraft CORDA box, but will not have the white outer sleeve with the candle name, scent notes, and story behind the inspiration.
These rugged scents of leather and sawdust are inspired by St. Joseph the Worker.
Nuanced with notes of amber, cedarwood, lavender, bergamot, rosewood, and mint.
Behind the Inspiration
This just man was a courageous and strong husband, with an obedient and humble heart. Through the work of his hands, Joseph provided for the Holy Family. Scents of leather and sawdust recall the shop where he worked, and where Jesus and Mary would have visited him.
St. Joseph the Worker’s feast day is May 1.

You’ll get the cleanest, longest, and safest burn from your candle with a few simple steps:
- Always trim the wick before lighting to 1/8”–1/4”
- Burn until the melted wax reaches edge to edge, or very nearly, to reduce tunneling
- Burn only up to 4 hours at a time
- Always keep a burning candle in sight, away from flammable materials, out of drafts, out of reach of pets and children, and on a heat-safe surface
- Keep out of direct sunlight
Just ordered a couple of their "seconds". They come in a plain, simple box, but once out of the box and burning they are perfect. Great for a self gift!
This candle is so unique-it is great to have a candle that has scents of earthly materials. I have male relatives that enjoy burning candles and I think this candle is a perfect gift. Having a candle designed with Joseph, the carpenter, in mind is very inspiring.
