Behind the Inspiration
Countless have prayed to this Carmelite nun, popularly known as the Little Flower, because of her famous promise: “After my death, I will let fall a shower of roses. I will raise up a mighty host of little saints.” Her example reminds us to be childlike in our faith and to follow the “little way” to heaven.
St. Therese’s feast day is October 1.

You’ll get the cleanest, longest, and safest burn from your candle with a few simple steps:
- Always trim the wick before lighting to 1/8”–1/4”
- Burn until the melted wax reaches edge to edge, or very nearly, to reduce tunneling
- Burn only up to 4 hours at a time
- Always keep a burning candle in sight, away from flammable materials, out of drafts, out of reach of pets and children, and on a heat-safe surface
- Keep out of direct sunlight
After previously ordering a sample set, I was pleased to be able to obtain this Shower of Roses seconds candle. I find that the scent is very helpful in my prayer time. The pleasant rose based scent helps me to focus. It’s not overpowering, but is subtly there in the background, helping me to stay centered. Thank you for making such a wonderful product! The minor flaw that makes it a second in no way affects the candle or the experience.

I love it - I can't possibly chose a favorite of all the Corda candles but it is definitely one I purchase over and over again!
