Behind the Inspiration
Morning Prayer, or Lauds, is the first office prayed after rising for the day. The fresh scents of morning dew and juniper berry call to mind the peacefulness of the sunrise, while bright citrus energizes us for the day ahead.

You’ll get the cleanest, longest, and safest burn from your candle with a few simple steps:
- Always trim the wick before lighting to 1/8”–1/4”
- Burn until the melted wax reaches edge to edge, or very nearly, to reduce tunneling
- Burn only up to 4 hours at a time
- Always keep a burning candle in sight, away from flammable materials, out of drafts, out of reach of pets and children, and on a heat-safe surface
- Keep out of direct sunlight
Each one of these scents remind me of Mary and the saints. They smell soft and lovely, just as some people say they smell a flower scent when praying to Mary or a certain saint. These are the only candles I like anymore since I first bought Corda Candles several years ago shortly after I heard Anna on Catholic radio talk about them. Thank you, Anna! What a sweet blessing.
