Each candle is handcrafted with CORDA's proprietary coconut wax blend, custom phthalate-free fragrances blended in-house, and a cotton and paper wick primed with all-natural wax. Learn more about the ingredients here.

You’ll get the cleanest, longest, and safest burn from your candle with a few simple steps:

Always trim the wick before lighting to 1/8”–1/4”
Burn until the melted wax reaches edge to edge, or very nearly, to reduce tunneling
Burn only up to 4 hours at a time
Always keep a burning candle in sight, away from flammable materials, out of drafts, out of reach of pets and children, and on a heat-safe surface
Keep out of direct sunlight

I bought the tea light sampler so I could try the scents before buying the candles. I highly recommend buying the tea lights if you’re not sure what scent you might like . Fount of Mercy is one of my new favorites . I love supporting a small family business that puts so much love and care into their products. I highly recommend and love Corda candles

Love it!

I started ordering Corda candles last year. I heard about the company on the Abiding Together Podcast. I have tried them all by now. I ordered different sets of 6 tealight sampler. Also, the bigger candle Lauds. I used for my morning prayer. There are a very good quality candles and Anna is always very responsive. I try to match the candles with feasts in the the liturgical year, saint days, or my intentions. I love Corda!

My package smelled amazing when I opened it! I LOVE Corda candles but sometimes can't decide which scents to purchase as gifts. So I picked 6 and bought 3 sets for 3 friends of mine for Christmas. I can't wait to hear how much they love the scents, and I hope they become lovers of Corda like me :)

High quality tea lights (6 "Roses in Winter”)

The pick-6 sampler was just what I was looking for in terms of scent and quality. The rose scent is not overwhelming, balanced out by the fir needle scent. I have been using them during prayer and study. They arrived intact.
I would note that the plastic edging (rather than foil) adds to the diameter of the candle slightly, so these tea lights might be a tight squeeze for your average tea light holder.

Unique! But wax was broken and cracked

I ordered the tea light sampler for my mom. Although I think she won’t like half of them, my hope is she’d find at least one she could buy for herself later. Unfortunately, most of the candles showed up with cracks and looked roughed up. There is no lid, and there was wax on the top of the box (maybe it was too hot when shipping?), and the box was a little damaged too. I don’t love giving it when it looks like that, but I like the Catholic scent ideas!
