Behind the Inspiration
Cherry reminds us of Elizabeth’s innocent and joyful spirit, as when she joked that she ate cherries, which the locals called “Carmelites,” in order to have a vocation. Violet recalls her poetry and mystical works, which were often written in vibrant purple ink, as well as her religious name, as violets symbolize the Trinity.
St. Elizabeth’s feast day is November 8.

You’ll get the cleanest, longest, and safest burn from your candle with a few simple steps:
- Always trim the wick before lighting to 1/8”–1/4”
- Burn until the melted wax reaches edge to edge, or very nearly, to reduce tunneling
- Burn only up to 4 hours at a time
- Always keep a burning candle in sight, away from flammable materials, out of drafts, out of reach of pets and children, and on a heat-safe surface
- Keep out of direct sunlight

Cloistered Heart
I am a consecrated member of a group called "Cloistered Hearts." As I was searching for that term on the internet one day, this candle came up with that name. I was drawn in by the fact that it was associated with a Catholic Saint and the mission of CORDA candles. I ordered several large candles and smaller ones for each member in our group. Simply fantastic!
I have given this as a gift but have ordered from you before and the candles are the best I’ve seen and the smell is exceptional.

The Cloistered Heart scent is light, refreshing, and overall lovely. As the candle burns, the fragrance carries nicely without being overwhelming. I would definitely buy this scent again!

I bought this candle for a teacher's gift. She absolutely loved it! I love giving Corda's candles as gifts because you can really personalize the right candle for the person. I love all the different saints represented.
