Behind the Inspiration
A passionate soul, Augustine is often depicted with a heart on fire. He spent many years wandering down false paths, including stealing pears with his friends simply to do what was wrong. But as God drew his restless heart, Augustine came to find the true good he had been seeking, and as theologian and bishop gave his life to sharing it with others.
St. Augustine’s feast day is August 28.

You’ll get the cleanest, longest, and safest burn from your candle with a few simple steps:
- Always trim the wick before lighting to 1/8”–1/4”
- Burn until the melted wax reaches edge to edge, or very nearly, to reduce tunneling
- Burn only up to 4 hours at a time
- Always keep a burning candle in sight, away from flammable materials, out of drafts, out of reach of pets and children, and on a heat-safe surface
- Keep out of direct sunlight

Restless Heart is true to the pear scent. It is a light, fruity fragrance that fills the room. The was burns slowly and evenly without much soot. I chose this candle because I like pear-flavored fragrances. I purchased from Corda to support my students' fundraiser.

My family and in-laws LOVE these candles! I have stopped buying any candles other than these. They last a long time and even when the wick burns out, the scent still remains and the leftover wax can still be set out!
