Behind the Inspiration
A passionate soul, Augustine is often depicted with a heart on fire. He spent many years wandering down false paths, including stealing pears with his friends simply to do what was wrong. But as God drew his restless heart, Augustine came to find the true good he had been seeking, and as theologian and bishop gave his life to sharing it with others.

St. Augustine’s feast day is August 28.

US Shipping: For orders to the contiguous states, free shipping is automatic on orders of $75 or more. A single tealight set can ship for $5 and all other orders ship for just $7.50. Shipping for orders to Hawaii and Alaska will be calculated at checkout. Orders are shipped via USPS Priority Mail and tracking information is provided.

International Shipping: Orders shipping to Canada will be sent via UPS Worldwide and shipping is calculated at checkout. For other international destinations, please send me your shipping address and order, and I'll send a shipping quote back. Please note that all international shipping costs/duties/taxes/etc. are the responsibility of the recipient. If you're overseas, just send me a note with the items you'd like to purchase and your shipping address, and I'll send a quote back.

Each candle is handcrafted with CORDA's proprietary coconut wax blend, custom phthalate-free fragrances blended in-house, and a cotton and paper wick primed with all-natural wax. Learn more about the ingredients here.

You’ll get the cleanest, longest, and safest burn from your candle with a few simple steps:

Always trim the wick before lighting to 1/8”–1/4”
Burn until the melted wax reaches edge to edge, or very nearly, to reduce tunneling
Burn only up to 4 hours at a time
Always keep a burning candle in sight, away from flammable materials, out of drafts, out of reach of pets and children, and on a heat-safe surface
Keep out of direct sunlight

I say a prayer to St. Augustine and St. Monica for intercession, before I light this candle. The fragrance really soothes the soul. There hasn't been a scent from CORDA that I haven't loved. Thank you CORDA!

Second time ordering and not disappointed

I ordered 4 candles and a sampler of other scents- I love them all. The Restless Heart is lovely - it will be difficult to choose who to gift these to or if I selfishly keep them to myself! Thank-you for such beautiful candles - each with a beautiful scent and title in remembrance of a special saint. I love especially the Padre Pio candle.

I love these candles!

This is my second order of Anna’s candles. I bought this round for my aunt who is going through chemotherapy. I felt she would find comfort in praying with our Blessed Mother and also because the scents are not overpowering. I felt they were perfect for someone who is nauseated from chemo. We love these candles!

Awesome scent!

This "Restless Heart" candle was a blessing.
