**Seconds** These candles have minor cosmetic blemishes: for example, markings on the glass or a slightly oblong shape. They come in a kraft CORDA box, but will not have the white outer sleeve with the candle name, scent notes, and story behind the inspiration.
These uplifting scents of mountain air and pipe tobacco are inspired by Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati.
Nuanced with notes of leather, musk, ozone, honey, and smoky tobacco leaf.
Behind the Inspiration:
This “man of the beatitudes” is loved for his example of true masculinity. An avid climber, Pier Giorgio was famously photographed smoking a pipe atop a mountain peak. He found God by striving “verso l’alto,” or “to the heights,” as well as “on the ground” in friendship, political action, and care for the poor even in his last days.

Each candle is handcrafted with CORDA's proprietary coconut wax blend, custom phthalate-free fragrances blended in-house, and a cotton and paper wick primed with all-natural wax. Learn more about the ingredients here.
You’ll get the cleanest, longest, and safest burn from your candle with a few simple steps:
- Always trim the wick before lighting to 1/8”–1/4”
- Burn until the melted wax reaches edge to edge, or very nearly, to reduce tunneling
- Burn only up to 4 hours at a time
- Always keep a burning candle in sight, away from flammable materials, out of drafts, out of reach of pets and children, and on a heat-safe surface
- Keep out of direct sunlight
