You’ll get the cleanest, longest, and safest burn from your candle with a few simple steps:
- Always trim the wick before lighting to 1/8”–1/4”
- Burn until the melted wax reaches edge to edge, or very nearly, to reduce tunneling
- Burn only up to 4 hours at a time
- Always keep a burning candle in sight, away from flammable materials, out of drafts, out of reach of pets and children, and on a heat-safe surface
- Keep out of direct sunlight
I purchased some candles from Corda a few months ago and whenever I run out I quickly order more. They have the most beautiful, subtle scent that fills the room but is not overwhelming. I'm very sensitive to scents and I find Cora candles to perfect. I really appreciate the clean ingredients and of course I love the Catholic message.
This is such a lovely option! The website has wonderful descriptions of the scents, but there is nothing like really smelling a candle yourself. The tea lights enabled me to pick six of the scents that I thought I would like and try them out without having to invest in a larger candle that might not be my favorite.
I loved the chance to pick a bunch of saints/scents to get a little preview so I know which larger candles I want to order next!

I love the pick 6 tea light sampler! It's a great way to try new scents! I also love to keep the tea lights on hand to add to gifts. Sometimes, I'll gift the entire sampler and sometimes I'll just add a couple tea light to a gift or a card. The tea lights smell wonderful and even though they are small, their scent fills the room!
Wonderful way to sample a variety of scents, and I love that you can do your own choosing from all the different scents! Trying it for myself first and would make a nice gift for someone who will appreciate the handpicked variety chosen with them in mind.
I had previously ordered candles for Catholic friends but this family member is not Catholic. I was hoping to spark her faith in selecting Stella Maris for Mary, St. Joseph and Song of Songs (for the wedding) to go with some Pottery Barn hurricane votive holders she had registered for. She seemed very touched and pleased with these gifts. Now come Holy Spirit, and inspire this couple to seek you and make Jesus a part of their marriage!
I ordered all the tea lights so I can get an idea of which candles I would like best. I did order a few candles as well. Love that they have saint names and I wish the scents are just a tad bit stronger while they burn. You do get the smell when you walk by but it takes an hour to actually get the smell to start filling up the room. Will definitely come back for more. This was all because of a fundraiser. So glad I discovered it through my daughter’s school.
I enjoy getting the sampler to have an assortment of holy smells. In addition I like to have some on hand as I slip them into note cards as thank you’s to people such as the ladies at our parish office.
These tea lights are my favorite! They burn just long enough to keep me focused while working from home. Sets the atmosphere to stay inspired and provides me the opportunity to try out more scents before committing to larger sized candle. The quality is so worth the cost!
