Behind the Inspiration
This “man of the beatitudes” is loved for his example of true masculinity. An avid climber, Pier Giorgio was famously photographed smoking a pipe atop a mountain peak. He found God by striving “verso l’alto,” or “to the heights,” as well as “on the ground” in friendship, political action, and care for the poor even in his last days.
St. Pier Giorgio’s feast day is July 4.

I bought this for my husband who loves Frassati but who is also picky about the kind of scents we have in our home. This was the perfect airy but masculine scent and my husband loves to light it at our meals. Such a lovely scent that smells like the beautidul outdoors!

What can I say? Saint Pierre, Giorgio Frassati is awesome. Such a mentor for our college kids! Someone who embodies the True, the Good, and the Beautiful. Two of our kids who are blessed to go to Auburn University have the gift of a Saint Frassati Chapel at their school. The Catholic community is thriving there at Auburn and coming from the East Coast, we have been blown away at the Mass attendance. So, instead of purchasing a bunch of different scents it just made sense to order 6 of the Alpine Accents. They burn so clean and I was confident in the product I was ordering, since we have had these candles in the past and have been so pleased.
