Behind the Inspiration
In light of her role as the Mother of God, Mary received the unique grace of being preserved from original sin from the very moment she was conceived. In honor of her purity, this candle is made of pure coconut wax and beeswax, and is fragrance free.
The feast of the Immaculate Conception is December 8.

You’ll get the cleanest, longest, and safest burn from your candle with a few simple steps:
- Always trim the wick before lighting to 1/8”–1/4”
- Burn until the melted wax reaches edge to edge, or very nearly, to reduce tunneling
- Burn only up to 4 hours at a time
- Always keep a burning candle in sight, away from flammable materials, out of drafts, out of reach of pets and children, and on a heat-safe surface
- Keep out of direct sunlight
I often need an unscented (or very lightly scented) candle, especially for longer burning times. This is a beautifully simple white candle, which reminds me of the purity and simplicity of the Blessed Mother.
I chose the Immaculata candle as it represents the Blessed Mother’s purity. It serves as a reminder to live our lives in imitation of Our Lady! The candle also can remind us of simplicity in the way we live. I choose to purchase Corda Candles as they are non toxic and burn clean! I also like the fact that they represent a Saint, a prayer, and some aspect of our spiritual life and Catholic faith.
I love Immaculata candle! I am sensitive to candle scents…and I am grateful for this one! The mixed beeswax burns such a bright flame. I hope someday you will provide a 100% beeswax candle, it’s my favorite! You could dedicate it to St Ambrose the patron saint of beekeepers (and candlemakers too!)
