Behind the Inspiration
Hyssop first appears in the Bible at the Passover, when it was used to spread the blood of a lamb on wooden doorposts to save God’s people from death. It is found again in John’s gospel at the Crucifixion, when Jesus, the Paschal Lamb, laid down his life for us on the Cross.
The feast of Divine Mercy is the second Sunday of Easter.

You’ll get the cleanest, longest, and safest burn from your candle with a few simple steps:
- Always trim the wick before lighting to 1/8”–1/4”
- Burn until the melted wax reaches edge to edge, or very nearly, to reduce tunneling
- Burn only up to 4 hours at a time
- Always keep a burning candle in sight, away from flammable materials, out of drafts, out of reach of pets and children, and on a heat-safe surface
- Keep out of direct sunlight

During our parish's weekly Divine Mercy Holy Hour this Lent, the Fount of Mercy tealights made the perfect gift for each participant. The beautiful fragrance serves as a gentle reminder of God's endless mercy, filling the space with warmth and grace.

I burned the candle for 3 hours and I didn’t notice a significant scent and had to literally go up to the candle to smell anything. I think for the size, cost is too much and won’t be purchasing again.

This candle smelled beautiful right out of the mailing box. It was purchased to be used as a prize for a bridal shower, so I did not get to keep it for myself (sadly), but I will definitely be getting one for personal use in the future. The packaging is very nice and was easy to gift. Very happy with my purchase!!
