Praying the Divine Office, also called the Liturgy of the Hours or the Work of God (opus Dei), is obligated for priests and religious, and is also a beautiful practice for all the faithful.
This Daily Prayer set features our two candles inspired by the Divine Office:
- Lauds, inspired by Morning Prayer (invigorating scents of citrus, morning dew, and juniper berry)
- Compline, inspired by Night Prayer (calming scents of dark amber, vanilla, and lavender)
Holy Faith collection | Total set: 90 hour burn time, 12 oz. | Each candle: 45 hour burn time, 6 oz. candle
US Shipping: For orders to the contiguous states, free shipping is automatic on orders of $75 or more. A single tealight set can ship for $5 and all other orders ship for just $7.50. Shipping for orders to Hawaii and Alaska will be calculated at checkout. Orders are shipped via USPS Priority Mail and tracking information is provided.
International Shipping: Orders shipping to Canada will be sent via UPS Worldwide and shipping is calculated at checkout. For other international destinations, please send me your shipping address and order, and I'll send a shipping quote back. Please note that all international shipping costs/duties/taxes/etc. are the responsibility of the recipient. If you're overseas, just send me a note with the items you'd like to purchase and your shipping address, and I'll send a quote back.
Each candle is handcrafted with CORDA's proprietary coconut wax blend, custom phthalate-free fragrances blended in-house, and a cotton and paper wick primed with all-natural wax. Learn more about the ingredients here.
You’ll get the cleanest, longest, and safest burn from your candle with a few simple steps:
- Always trim the wick before lighting to 1/8”–1/4”
- Burn until the melted wax reaches edge to edge, or very nearly, to reduce tunneling
- Burn only up to 4 hours at a time
- Always keep a burning candle in sight, away from flammable materials, out of drafts, out of reach of pets and children, and on a heat-safe surface
- Keep out of direct sunlight

Olivia I really like the candles. I placed an order of the prayer set as a gift, and also purchased one other candle. All three candles came packaged super nicely, but they were packed all together with no separate box for the “set.” I just thought they would be more presentable as a little set, which is why I chose to purchase it as a gift in the first place.Other than that, the candles have lovely scents and are very nice.

Edward Suski My wife and I have been buying these candles for a couple of years now. They're high quality, and the scents are heavenly. The Daily Prayer Set is no exception. I bought it for my wife's birthday and she loves it. Additionally, I threw Anna an accidental curve ball with a shipping address hiccup due to having recently moved. She was responsive and so easy to work with. Despite my not picking up the package from my PO Box in a timely manner, the packaging was excellent and the candles were in great shape. Highly recommend you pick up one of these awesome CORDA products today!
