You’ll get the cleanest, longest, and safest burn from your candle with a few simple steps:
- Always trim the wick before lighting to 1/8”–1/4”
- Burn until the melted wax reaches edge to edge, or very nearly, to reduce tunneling
- Burn only up to 4 hours at a time
- Always keep a burning candle in sight, away from flammable materials, out of drafts, out of reach of pets and children, and on a heat-safe surface
- Keep out of direct sunlight

A great quality lid. They sent me an extra because they sent the wrong one originally (without the inscription), which they definitely didn’t need to do but was very sweet of them! One of my favorite small businesses for sure. I’m sad I don’t have more opportunities to buy candles!!
My maternal grandfather was a carpenter by trade, unfortunately I did not inherit his talent, but I have a special place in my heart for wood objects and know that each piece will not be the same. With that said, the CORDA Walnut Lid I received did not disappoint! The color of the wood, the font for “hearts up” on the top of the lid and CORDA on the underside of the lid are perfect. I will definitely order a lid with future gift giving purchases.

I ordered the lid to provide some protection for my candles when not in use. While the design is simple, it’s simplicity makes it a beautiful complement to the candle and does the job of protecting it from dust, nosy pets, etc. I’m glad I finally ordered it.

I was so excited when I discovered Corda's introduction of wooden lids for their candles! The craftsmanship is truly remarkable, and the option to have them inscribed with 'hearts up' is a such a nice touch. Lighting a candle always serves as a beautiful reminder to lift our hearts to the Lord.
I ordered the beautiful walnut candle lid from Corda because of the inscription on the lid. "Hearts up" reminds us to lift our hearts to God, to remember his mercy. The scents of each candle wafting through our home, help us to lift our hearts to him who knows us. The candles and the lid are a special gift from your hearts to our home.
I purchased this lid for our Corda candles that we use at work. I set the candle jar on top of the lid to elevate the candle and not lose the lid. This lid is elegantly made. Pure walnut wood makes it look like I paid a lot of money for it. I love that when we blow out the candle it holds all the smoke inside and it seems to also hold the scent a bit longer. Walnut wood is a hard wood so I know that it will last a long time. The font that was used to engrave "hearts up" is in the same style that you would expect from Corda. The name "Corda" is engraved on the back all in capital letters just like you see on the candle. Would I purchase more? Absolutely! It adds functionality and class to our Corda candles!
Beautiful way to add a finishing touch to my candles. After burning and cooling I add the lid so that I always see the Hearts up message. Great product.
